Camomile

Camomile has long been used, as a traditional folk remedy, for a wide range of health issues. The name originates from Greek words ‘chamos’ (which means ground) and ‘milos’ (meaning apple). The Egyptians would dedicate camomile plants to the sun and worshiped it above all other herbs for its incredible healing properties. Considered to be a symbol of relaxation and rest today, in floral magic, the dainty white flowers were used in spells for purification, protection, peace, and new beginnings.
